Time & Purpose
How embracing time and purpose transform your life and relationships?
As we get older we become aware of our initial D-Day.
Life is not short, no life is precious make every moment count. (ATD)
Cherishing Every Sunrise
Another Day!
Under the sun
—I turned 39 this week.
A moment that brings both gratitude and a sharp clarity:
Life isn't short; it's precious.
This realization hits hard as we age.
Reminding us of our expiration date.
God: Deep Connection and Guidance
Faith in Times of Trouble: Recognizing a higher power. God, Source, Yahweh, Allah, Spirit, or whatever name you acknowledge. Has been pivotal in overcoming life’s darkest moments.
Guiding Light: Each challenge I've faced through struggles, reinforced my faith and resilience
Family: The Foundation of Everything
Mission and Love: Family transforms a man's life. From solitary ambitions to collective joy and responsibility.
Unwavering Support: Their support through smiles and shared experiences. Strengthens me against life’s pressures, reinforcing why family is foundational.
Lifting: Service Beyond Self
Active Service: Participating in community service. Serving at food banks and providing haircuts to the homeless.
Community Impact: Teach us the importance of contributing to society. Ensuring our children grow into key contributors within their communities.
Beyond Life's Limitations
As we navigate through life's milestones. Often confronted with the sobering thought that your time here is limited.
This isn't about fearing the end.
But about recognizing the urgency to live a life of meaning. A deeper challenge that we, as fathers, husbands, and men in transition, face.
Knowing our family. It's a common belief to let kids be kids or to let life unfold as it will. But you risk missing the essence of our loved ones' dreams and identities.

Mission Beyond the Material
My journey of self-discovery, amplified by celebrating another year of life. It led me to a profound realization. My wife's gift—a new Mac—wasn't an object. It was recognition of my mission. A testament to the deep connection and understanding we share.
Inspired by wisdom and love, I've found that our true mission extends beyond ourselves.
It's about uplifting our family through acts of love, guided by the pillars of life:
God,
Family,
Lifting ( lifting others through service.)
The mastery method is a dedicated practice. Guiding our young ones to understanding. Their strengths, passions, and purpose, embody this philosophy. It’s not about teaching; it’s about leading by example. - Talk is cheap
Mastery Method: Understanding and Growth
Structured Inquiry: A set of questions designed to deepen family understanding, involving:
Self-evaluation
Interest exploration
Interest immersion
Follow-up review
Quarterly Reviews: Acts as a tune-up to adapt our parenting. As our children grow, ensuring continuous improvement.
Personal Development: Helps each family member be their best self. Discerning what aligns with their vision
Challenge for Change
I challenge you to embark on this journey of clarity and connection.
Start by engaging in deep, meaningful conversations with your family.
Discover their dreams, their fears, and their passions. Share '39 Things I Learned in 39 Years,' a reflection of my journey, as a starting point for these discussions. Then, set a mission for your family.
Define clear goals. Whether a collective service project or personal growth milestones for each member.
As part of this mission, I introduce the 'AD45 Challenge'—Attack the Day: 45 Days to Set Standards Challenge.
This challenge is a testament to the belief that 'if it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you.' Let the AD45 Challenge be your family's collective journey. Setting higher standards is a concrete step towards understanding, love, and purpose.
Roots of Connection
Embracing this approach brings a ton of benefits.
Enhanced focus and clarity.
A deep sense of purpose, and an unbreakable bond.
You have to get the root of who your family is not just on the surface. But understanding them at their core, fulfilling your true mission.
