Balancing Tech & Life In A Digital World

How To Navigate Today’s Tech Obsessed World

Listen up, God didn't put you here to live a scattered, all-over-the-place kind of life. He's all about you living a life filled to the top with Purpose !

What up fellas,

Are You Living in the Now?

Depression and anxiety are beasts we all battle, and I'm no stranger to my fight against PTSD.

We're living life across different timelines – past, present, and future – but are we ever in the moment?

In this digital frenzy we call life, how are you balancing the chaos? Let's dive into this together.

Time's Ticking – But Are You Paying Attention?

Ever noticed how we're slaves to the clock?

Look at my kid DJ, obsessed with timing everything. But here's the kicker: his fixation on what's next steals his joy in the now. I've seen PTSD almost wreck my marriage; I'll be damned if I let it mess with my son's future.

It's about enjoying the ride, not counting the miles.

Hey, Put Down That Phone!

Next time you're out, count the zombies – those lost souls staring into their phones. My son's one of them, and heck, we all are at times.

But where's the real-life interaction, the chance to breathe in life? Disconnecting isn't nice – it's necessary. And yes, it's tough.

But aren't you tougher?

Taming Your Tech: Discipline in the Digital Age

  • Embrace the Grayscale: Change your phone's display to grayscale. Less color equals less temptation.

  • Pomodoro Technique: Work hard for a set period, then take a tech-free break. It's about focused bursts of productivity followed by real relaxation.

  • Scheduled Social Media: Allocate specific times for social media and adhere to them strictly. Discipline is key.

Tech-Free Zones and Times

  • Dinner Table and Car Rides: Make these spaces phone-free. It's about being present with those around you.

  • Family Time is Sacred: Ensure that your family interactions are uninterrupted by digital distractions.

Obsessed Much? Balancing Your Passions

We all get obsessed. I was hooked on bodybuilding, and it paid off. But tread carefully. Obsession's a fire – it can warm your house or burn it down.

Your family, health, and values? They're not up for sacrifice. Find the balance; it’s not a buzzword.

Social Media: Friend or Foe to Your Family?

Ever seen a table full of phone zombies ignoring each other? Disgusting, right?

Social media's ripping families apart. As the King of youre kingdom, it's on you to set the rules. Be the change. Don't preach; practice.

Time: Your Most Precious Resource

Juggling fatherhood, marriage, and leadership? It's a marathon, not a sprint.

After retiring from the military, I learned it the hard way. Chasing dollars and dreams without enjoying the now? That's a one-way ticket to Regretsville. Balance, my friend, is your golden ticket.

Focus, Man, Focus!

You've heard me say it before: Follow One Course Until Successful. Don't throw spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks. Plan, execute, and stay the course.

Patience isn’t a virtue; it’s a necessity.

Here's is the A.A.R (Get Your Act Together)

We're all trying to make sense of this digital madness. So here's the deal: set your standards, manage your time, and for heaven's sake, be present. Unplug, connect with your people, and focus on what's real. Your legacy depends on it.
